Hi Social Traders,

August was a calm month in the currency markets due to summer holidays and the uneventful economic news resulting in many Forex brokers posting lower monthly client trading volumes.  Even the MSCI World Stock Index had a flat month showing a slight decline of 0.13% after having strong performance in July.  With the focus on what the US Federal Reserve will do in September after Yellen’s somewhat hawkish comments on August 26th, most Central Banks didn’t make any policy changes except for the UK and Australia each cutting interest rates by 25 basis points.    

The lackluster currency and stock markets didn’t prevent the growth of Social trading on FX Junction.  Thanks to your help in spreading the news to your friends on your social media sites about FX Junction, membership and traders linking accounts continued to make new highs as well as trading volumes posted the second best result in 2016 with approximately 280,000 trades.

What’s new on FX Junction?

As always, the development team is hard at work creating new features to improve your experience on FX Junction.  In August, there wasn’t any new visual enhancements to FX Junction as the team has been focusing on the redesign of the website which is scheduled to be released in September.  As stated in the August newsletter, the new website will have a completely updated interface that will be compatible with mobile, available in several languages as well as many other exciting features.
