 Hi Social Traders,

In March, equity markets and currencies were mainly driven by events in the US.  The anticipated US Federal Reserve interest rate hike by 25 basis points in mid March resulted in the Euro gaining back its losses made previously in February against the US Dollar and then at the end of March the Trump administration failed to get enough support to pass the healthcare bill resulting in the US stock market to drop and USD to gain back against the EUR.  In addition, the UK government formally triggered Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty leaving the European Union in two years and began negotiating terms between the EU and UK.  Finally, the Dutch elections took place and resulted in prime minister, Mark Rutte and the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) retain their position as largest party.   Looking forward to April 23rd, the first round of the well monitored French elections will be held.

FX Junction community membership increased by 0.70% in March to 23,825 members.  Number of FX Junction members who have linked their brokerage accounts have decreased by 2.1% to 9,250 accounts. This was due to the forced disconnection of 267 accounts after our decision to remove users linking unregulated brokerage accounts.  

 

 

What’s new on FX Junction?

We released several new improvements for FX Junction members, including our new and improved performance statistics allowing members to better analyze their trading activity. We also translated FX Junction into Bahasa Indonesia for our large Indonesia community which now represents over 10% of all FX Junction members.  Finally, we established new guidelines for signal providers sharing their strategies for AutoCopy.  All Signal Providers who have not complied with our new guidelines have until May 1st.  

The engineers are currently hard at work to deliver you new features in order to enhance your experience on FX Junction.  The following exciting new features are planned to be released soon and will include:

• Hosted Account:  Members who link their account(s) to their FX Junction profile will be soon be offered the ability to host their platform directly on FX Junction which will eliminate the need of the self-hosted FX Junction Bridge EA and a VPS.
• Trending Ticker:  Create and enable the #Symbol tag for members sharing ideas on the dashboard and the ability to filter symbols to see what's happening at the moment on your favorite symbols
• Language Translations: Soon to be released is FX Junction translated into Russian and Arabic. 
• Premium Service:  For a monthly fee, members will have access to premium services offered by FX Junction.
• Rating System:  The ability to rate and comment about an experience with a signal provider
